Why HP Tools are not available in SLES10 for DL360 G4 systems

Why HP Tools are not available in SLES10 for DL360 G4 systems? Where as they are availabe for G4P and G5 systems.

But in that website G4 is not at all listed. Can we conclude from that webpage that HP will not support SLES10 for G4 systems??

Hi,

it is supported, check here:

the drivers are listed under the performance model - G4p. From the link above, when you click on the tick where dl360 g4 and SLES 10 are crossing you will get :

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/linux/dl360g4-drivers-cert.html

and when you select SLES 10 under drivers you will be forwarded to the SLES10 software & downloads for DL360 G4p , which are of course the same...

This is the supportos archive. So suse10 should work!

Please, try downloading the Proliant support Pack for DL360G4p.
