Wide-Ultra SCSI port and HVD

Does the 68 pin Wide-Ultra SCSI port on the ProLiant 2500 support HVD or LVD/SE? I'm looking to connect a Tape drive to the Proliant 2500 server running Novell 4.11. The tape drive interface is 68 pin HVD.

Single-ended SCSI only. Most LVDS devices can "step down" so they would work fine.
