Will ProLiant Gen8 systems receive official support for Server 2019?

As the title says, will Proliant Gen8, specifically the DL380p's, receive official support for Server 2019 when it releases later this year. Any official word on this yet? I've tried to do research myself. It might be too early for this kind of announcement.

Hi,

Its too early to comment on this but my guess is that it will support.  If you check the Operating System Matrix, DL380p Gen8 supports all flavours of 2016.  Even if this server hardware does not support ALL flavours of 2019 but may support the basic flavours.

This is just my guess but have to wait and see the hardware requirements for this OS.
