SolutionYes it will.
In P800 QuickSpecs under "Related Options", you will see two 3TB drives supported:
- HP 3TB 3G SATA 7.2K rpm LFF (3.5-inch) Midline 1yr Warranty Hard Drive, P/N 628059-B21
- HP 3TB 3G SATA 7.2K rpm LFF (3.5-inch) Non-hot Plug Midline 1y Wty Hard Drive, P/N 628063-B21
...which means 3TB capacities are supported in general.
HTH.

Re: Will the DL 185 G5 (P800) support 3TB SAS drives?
I just wanted to mention that this is incorrect. As of P800 firmware version 7.24 (Sept 4 2012), the firmware does not support drives greater than 2.2 TB so you are still limited to the 2TB physical disks. You'll want to upgrade to a P812 if you want 3TB disk support.

Thanks - HP since then removed 3TB drives from QuickSpecs - probably was just an error.
