Win 2008 R2 on DL585 G1
Hi all, I'm trying to install 2008 R2 on a DL585 G1(4x AMD 2.6 GHZ, 12GB ram, SmartArray 5i). I used SmartStart 8.30 for x64. The process starts correctly but when the real OS installation begins it stops saying there're no HDs. Then i tried w\out SmartStart and loading controller drivers via USB. The controller is recognized correctly (HDs are present) and partitions appear to be created correctly (even if is not created the partion for recovery files - i.e. system partition 100MB), when i press NEXT to start, system says that it's not able to create a partition and the installation stops.
I tried with an original DVD from MS and with an ISO downloaded from Technet...no way at this moment. I opened a case on Business Support (29 oct 2009), but no response at this time. Anyone have an idea ?
Thanks !!
