Win XP PRO on ML110.

It´s possible to install the windows xp pro in a Proliant ML110 G4?

I tried de 2003 and 2000 driver and dont work, i already gone to lsi site download the SAS driver but still the same í can insert the driver and format the hard drive but then ask again for the driver diskete that is inserted but the sytem cant read them.

HP 8 Internal Port SAS HBA with RAID ?

if so you need this driver

Yes is that controler.

I tried the link you post but same result, identify well, but when tries to load gives me the message lsi_sas.sys is missing, but that is not true because if i do the same with 2003 it works ok.

I start to think that is not possible to put de ML110 G4 wokking with XP Professional :-(

what are you using to load the driver?
an hp floppy drive? or usb floppy drive?

because you need that any other brand of floppy is not supported by HP

I am using a usb flopy drive not hp flopy drive.

But if is that the case is strange because install´s ok the windows 2003 server.

Could be that the problem? The usb flopy drive must be hp?

Thanks but still not work gives me the same problem lsi_sas.sys is missing.

Monday i will trie with nlite and the driver form lsi web page.

How did you finally get this to work? I'm trying to install XP pro on a Proliant DL140 with the same HP 8 Internal Port SAS Host Bus Adapter with Raid.

I downloaded the server 2003 driver you said to use from here: http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/27275.html

I made the XP cd image with nlite and added the lsi_sas.inf file to image but I'm still getting that "lsi_sas.sys could not be found" message when i boot with the new xp install cd. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
