Win2003 on ML110 G2 - no array, no floppy!!
For some strange reason win2003 doesn't recognise the SATA raid array on the new ML110 G2 - but worse than this there is no floppy with which to install the associated driver. I have heard of some internal USB slot, but just wonder if anyone has a tried & tested routine to install 2003 on these new servers
thanks in advance

Re: Win2003 on ML110 G2 - no array, no floppy!!
I have installed 2003 on this server; windows 2003 does not have native support for the 6 port SATA controller. Since i did not have a USB floppy drive i removed the IDE floppy from the ML110 G1, put it in this server and then installed 2003. Worked like a charm:-)
ThereтАЩs your problem!!! This thing is set to EVIL!

Re: Win2003 on ML110 G2 - no array, no floppy!!
Thanks Vijay,
Unfortunately my collegue in Perth (who's doing the install) doesn't have a spare floppy on hand! I think we've exhuasted the floppy options - I was hoping someone might be able to expand on the internal USB port HP told us about?!
Thanks again
