Windows 2003/ML310 G2 embedded raid compatability?
I had some issues setting up our new server (ml310 g2), and I ended up not using the embedded raid controller. I couldn't get windows or the SmartStart cd to recognize the hard drives if they were configured in an array, or controlled individually by the raid controller. does anyone know if there's simply no support from win2003 for the embedded raid controller, or is there some way that I can patch it on the existing install, or even patch and re-install. i've got a couple of weeks to iron out the server before our company really needs it to be online, so re-installing won't be too miserable...
thanx,

Re: Windows 2003/ML310 G2 embedded raid compatability?
assuming that i can scrounge up a floppy drive and a cable, the OS is currently loaded on one of the drives controlled by the raid controller... if I change which sata cable is connected to it, will the OS react poorly? i.e., will it still boot with a difference device id? I know I've had some experiecence with 2000 Pro not reacting well to that.
