Windows 2003 Server Installation in ProLiant ML350 4G
I'm using SmartStart CD for configuration and further installation of W2003 Server Enterprice Edition. After inserting W2003 CD, and begin the installation, I receive the message: The entry "Controladora para CD-ROM IDE (ATAPI 1.2)/PCI" in the unattended script file doesn't exist in the [SCSI] section of the INF file txtsetup.sif.
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.
After that, don't continue whith the installation. What can I do?.
Thanks.
Omar

Re: Windows 2003 Server Installation in ProLiant ML350 4G
I think that you could install the operating system directly from the Windows installation media. You then can create the driver disks for devices.
The only mandatory driver that you must get is the hard drive controller or raid controller driver. When installing windows press F6 to load additional drivers and insert the right disk for the disk/raid controller of your server.

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
