Windows 2003 server / insight agents ( 6400R /1840R )?

I have been able to install Windows 2003 server on 3 Prolinat 6400R and 2 1850R servers just fine.. My scenario..

Boot the server with the Windows 2003 CD in the drive...build/configure..do the snmp add after the build..

At that point with a running Windows 2003 OS on each box.. I insert the the Smart Start 6.40 CD and start the Support pack install. On all the servers it fails to install the Insight agents ? Any hints ?

View the log (button on install window) it will tell you exactly why it failed

If it is sucessful then re-insatll the SupportPaq because when the System management
controller driver fails it fails a few other packages as well.

To all who couldn't install windows 2003 on a proliant server 6400R, or any other, do yourself a favor and take out all installed cards except for the RAID controller, I spent a week trying to install Windows 2003 on my proliant 6400R but to no avail, the moment I snatched out the Firewire card that was install to support an external drive, the installation went without a hitch.

I learned, I hope this helps you.
