Windows 2008 / 2008 R2 Core - HP Insight Agents
I am fairly new to Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 Core. Is it possible to install the HP Support Pack on Core? Can the HP Insight Agents be installed on Core?
My ultimate goal is to add the 2008 Core systems to my new HP Insight Manager server that is being set up for alerts, info, management page, etc.
Thanks for fielding a newbie's question.

Re: Windows 2008 / 2008 R2 Core - HP Insight Agents
Hi Jon,
Once you download the PSP file onto a computer, extract the contents to a folder.
Once the PSP is extracted within the folder you have to invoke hpsum in CLI
- run hpsum
hpsum.exe means HP Smart Update Manager.
If you need further help on hpsum, use "hpsum [/h[elp]] [/?]" in CLI.
