Re: Windows 2008, Server Hang

What else could I do... Otherwise the server was just about useless. If that is of any consolation to you, reinstalling from scratch AD, Exchange, SQL, MS CRM, recreating users, importing data etc. was not a pleasant task at all ;-)

Re: Windows 2008, Server Hang

Hi,

I am having the same problem. Customer has had 2x ML150G5's with SBS2008 x64 and it is freezing with CPU0 err.

Really need a resolution!!!

HP has not been able to help. An engineer even tried replacing the CPU in the first one. But that didn't work and is obviously not the issue.

HELP

Regards,

Daniel.

Re: Windows 2008, Server Hang

I'm afraid this machine is only able to run Windows 2003 at the moment. My customer's machine has never frozen again since the downgrade. HP is apparently taking their time to solve this problem or they just don't give a toss.

Re: Windows 2008, Server Hang

guys I have a question

seeing this

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1291631

"I borrowed different storage controller instead of 4-port SAS HBA that was included (P400/256).Since then, server never froze. So obviously driver for storage controller (HP 4/8 Internal Port SAS HBA with RAID and ..."

which controllers are your server using?
4-port HBA?
e200?
p400?

it would be nice to know if the servers share the same controller

bye

Re: Windows 2008, Server Hang

My customer has a 4-port SAS HBA. Actually this is an LSI controller. Windows 2003 (as I mentioned I gave up Win2008) sees it as "LSI Adapter, SAS 3000 series, 4-port with 1064E -StorPort".
