Windows 2008 x64 DL380 G6 reports false NIC errors

SMH on DL380 G6 running Windows 2008 x64 is reporting Status: Link Failure for the primary NIC. Yet the NIC is fine and the server is totally functional. I have restart SNMP, all Agents, and SMH service, yet the NIC still reports error and hence the overall status of the server in SIM reports "Major" condition.

Anyone seen this?
