Windows 200x and SMP errors

I have 3 new DL 3xx G3 servers with Dual Porcessors and both Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 report 4 processors. Looks like an OS bug, but has anybody found a way to correct this?

Windows 2003 knows about the HyperThreading technology in the Pentium IV processors. When HyperThreading is turned on in the bios, this causes there to appear to be 2x the number of processors.

This is why you are seeing that. And it's a feature, not a bug! :)
