Windows Server 2003 on a ML530 (Not G2)..
Hello,
Is there anyone who have successfully installed Windows Server 2003 on a Compaq ML530 (800 Mhz, 2 GB RAM). I've found a SmartStart 5.30 which recognizes my server, but there is now Windows 2003 option available, nor does it work when using the "Other" option. When the server reboots and the Windows 2003 server installation starts it doesn't recognize my array controller. The server is equipped with a Smart Array 431 controller.
Please, anyone, give me some feedback if you have succesfully installed Windows Server 2003 on similair system.

All what you need is create system Partition, Array Configuration for O/S Select Win 2000 and After Run with Manual Install Win 2003

Problem solved. I got a BlueScreen, which was caused by a memory module beeing faulty.
