Re: Windows Server 2012 HP Proliant DL785 G5 - Driver Issue
Hi,
DL785 G5 is not a supported server for Windows Server 2012.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=mmr_kc-0108700
IPMI Device and Base System Device is the iLO and or Chipset of the System Board.
Reference:
I have not tried myself but one suggestion is that, try to install the SPP from the link given in the above page.
Thank You!

Re: Windows Server 2012 HP Proliant DL785 G5 - Driver Issue
Incorrect. You CAN install this driver.
Link is below:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/swd/detail?swItemId=MTX_5b59a14a1d324256a9e31a421e
Dont click INSTALL, click EXTRACT. Then point Device Manager to the extracted location. Done!
[Moderator edit: Updated the link.]

The last link listed was pointing to the softpaq file cp013803.exe. After searching on that file name, the latest revision can be found here http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_5b59a14a1d324256a9e31a421e

Re: Windows Server 2012 HP Proliant DL785 G5 - Driver Issue
You might try the following URL (https://www.admin-enclave.com/en/articles/windows/480-windows-2012-driver-for-hp-ml360-g6.html) which list drivers for the ML360 which solved the issue on my side...
