Re: Windows XP and HP DL serries ?
Raghav,
Yes I know that it's not a supported OS, but a wanne know of sombody tryed it.
I need a server with a Raid 1 configuration, we stream media for mobile phones and the software we use works with Windows XP. I don't want a desktop machine or a secondhand server, I want the quality :)
Gr,
Erik

Re: Windows XP and HP DL serries ?
XP is not 'supported' on a ML570 G1, but it works fine for me. The Windows 2000/2003 drivers loaded just fine for the 5302 Smart Array controller. Just try it. If it does not work, wipe the array and go from there.
