Windows XP on ML115

I know XP isn't officially supported but when I try to boot from an XP CD, I get nothing but a blank screen. I have put linux on it so I know the CD drive is fine.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes they talk of an nlite install, I'm using nlite myself but I get the same results ie a blank screen. I guess i'm looking for a way to 'kick off' the install on the ML115.

Any instructions etc would be helpful.

Re: Windows XP on ML115

Try clearing the NVRAM using the System Maintenance switch & try again.

Clearing the NVRAM didn't help (just to confirm, it's the button on the motherboard?)

Re: Windows XP on ML115

If you can boot from the start-up cd use erase utility from the maintain server.and clear nvram, cmos.you can erase nvram from the RBSU.it will work.

Yes, the NVRAM switch is the one on the Server Board.
And try Clearing NVRAM. That's the only thing that we can think of for now.
