Windows freeze
Hi!
I've got some problems on a NT4 SP6 a server. Sometimes when i start DOS or Explorer windows they just freeze for no reason. I cant kill them from the taskmanager and the only way is to restart the server. Have you heard of this before?
NT4 SP6a
Smartstart 5.20
Progress database 9.1c
Pcanywhere 10.5 (have also tried ver. 8)

Hello,
First thing I would do is update the System BIOS, firmware version of Array controller, System configuration utility and Support Paq for NT. Please run diagnostics on your server to determine if there is any hardware issues. Please feel free to contact our Tech Support at 1-800-OK-COMPAQ.
