Winnt 4.0 terminal server Edition doesnt recognize drives

After installing a security update and rebooting, the server no longer boots up after post. In attempting to repair the installation, it asks for 3rd party drivers. It sees the 430 raid controller, however, does not see any drives attached to it. Needless to say, I cant continue with the repair. Any suggestions are welcome.

Download the driver for the array controller to floppy. You know you have the right files on the floppy when you find a txtsetup.oem file (i think thats the name) on the floppy.

Then boot nt4 tse, press f6 when you see, setup is identifying your hardware configuration or something close to that. (nothing happens)

Then press S to specify additional drivers, select other, supply floppy etc...

Pressing F6 prevents nt from autodetecting your scsi controller.

That could be the problem...

The other scenario is that there is some form of NT fault tolerance, like a software mirror, volume set, stripe set etc... which nt setup cannot handle or repair...

Another suggestion,

If you don't hit F6 at the right time during the CD boot, you'll face the same problem. Try using the NT setup disk (created using winnt /ox), this actually prompts you to press the F6 key to specify the controller driver.
There’s your problem!!! This thing is set to EVIL!
