Won't Boot

Had to shutdown the server due to a service not running. After it had shutdown NT, the screen just went blank and the LCD panel stayed lit with the same message about the Firmware version and that was it, it didn't restart with any bios messages etc on the VDU. Then I tried to turn the server off and although everything powered down, the LCD screen still had the same display (the firmware version). When I turn it back on the fans and disk array power up and the CD-ROM light flshes but that's about it, no display, no floppy boot, nothing!! Oh and it's kind of critical: it's our File and Print server!! typically!

Re: Won't Boot

This is normally a seating issue if nothing had been done to the server. Please reseat the processor(s), PPM(s), memory, and periferal board. Are there any beep codes? If these fail, follow the LCD panel cable to where it plugs in and unplug it.
