X5675 processor in the DL160 G6 server, temperature of the processor shows 30 degrees.
I installed a new 2x X5675 processor in the DL160 G6 server. Updated BIOS and iLO to the latest version. The temperature of the processor shows 30 degrees and does not change. How to fix it?.

Re: X5675 processor in the DL160 G6 server, temperature of the processor shows 30 degrees.
Hi,
Good Day. First please check if the unit has been put into any load or not. The temperature of the CPU varies depending on the environment as well. Test by inserting only 1 CPU and check if any difference. If the temperature is constant for only the CPU but varies for other components then it is possible that the temperature sensor on the board could be faulty. To isolate this test these two procs on another server and check. If issue stays with this systemboard then we request you to log a support ticket with us to check on the hardware and if required replace it.
Regards,
Bunsol
