acu did not detect any support controllers in you system

this message appears when I try to form the Array (ACU did not detect any supported controllers in your system) I am using SmartStart 7,10 and 7.00, my server is HP proliant ML530 G2,I am seeing all discs when this starting, and within smartstart, I can see, but when treatment to form the Array throws that message to me.

Hi Cristian,
If you can see disks during POST and after entering ACU you can see such message, this mean that:
1. You don't have any Smart Array controller in your server,
2. Your disks are not connected to array controller.
Note, that ML530G2 ship standard with Integrated Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter, which don't have array capability.

You have to select your array controller as boot controller, trough the rom based setup.

Make sure you're disks are attached to the array controller.

Which array controller do you have installed?

This server doesn't come with one out of the box. SS 6.x and higher supports only "newer" controllers (eg. 431, 532, 530x, and higher).
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Christian...How was this resolved, I am in the SAME EXACT boat that you were 6 months ago! Did you purchase a smart array controller? If so, which one?
