We have purchased two 1.8TB 10K SAS hard drives for our G9 server (791034-B21). We want to add them as a separate volume. We have a P440ar, and currently have five disks in two volumes. The OS on RAID 1, and the applications on RAID5. Since this is not a task we perofrm on a regular basis I thought we could simply look up the steps online, and it would be a simple process to add the disks, and configure them into a RAID1. I have not ben able to find a step by step procedure anywhere, and I eant to make sure we don't make any mistakes, as this is an active produciton server with our ERP on it.

SolutionHi, The OS is Windwos 2012, but I have figured out a solution, and was closing case today. It was incredibly easy with Windows. I inserted the two disks, and then went to the HP Smartt Storage Admin application.

Forgive me, may I know more details about the steps you followed to complete the task?
