adding a new CPU to ML350G4p
do I peel away the clear film on the bottom of the heatsink before mounting on the xeon 3.4 CPU?
I'm sure I do, just verifying ?

Yes remove the clear film on the nottom of the heatsink, as this just protects the Thermal Paste.
