adding a new videoadapter problems

I disabled the embedded videocontroller with the switch on the motherboard and added the Jeronimo Pro dual SVGA card. However, in the bios setup seems impossible to disable the embedded controller and Device manager in W2K shows the 2 video adapters, the new one and the embedded, so this won't work. What is the problem here ? How can I really disable the embedded video-
controller ?

You don't need to turn it off in the BIOS setup... Once it's disabled on the system board (by that switch) it's really not there. One thing though - what firmware version is this system using now?
