adding drive space

I added 3 new 18.2 Ultra 3 Scsi drives to an existing array. I first tried to increase the size of the last volume but the array utility wouldn't allow it. I then tried to create a new volume in the array. The Compaq array utility seemed to do its job, but Disk Management does not reflect a change in disk space. Is there a trick to getting the O.S. to see the new logical drive created?

I beleive in Windows that your Disks should be setup as Dynamic Disks and a Simple Volume, then you can expand the volume.

Worked for us.
