check out the Windows 2003 downloads.
Maybe the SATA event notification service can be of some assistance.. I wonder if there is a tool to check out this sata host adapter - are there any RAID functionality at all with this? Maybe there's no way to actually check logs etc..
smart check maybe can help?
There are firmware updates and drivers in the link above too.

Re: adpachi / 11 error on Proliant ML110 G4 server
Hi,
Event ID : 11 is related to Storage controller driver or firmware as per Microsoft Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314093
ML110 G4 Comes with 4 Port SATA controller. So please update the Controller driver (HP Embedded SATA RAID Controller Driver)
Also update the system Bios if not latest
Reboot the server and check the event log again for latest entries.

Re: adpachi / 11 error on Proliant ML110 G4 server
Thanks for the replies to my issue.
Aftab Ali:
The driver for the sata is alreaddy installed.
The bios is a couple of months newer than the bios installed, i will look into updating this as soon as possible.
I have checked the server with insight diagnostic offline ed, and no errors identified.
Also our raid are healthy.
If there is an error here, where would that lie? On the motherboard?

Re: adpachi / 11 error on Proliant ML110 G4 server
Hi,
Sorry, could not check your response.
If raid is healthy, insight diagnostic did not return any error and server is working fine then event ID 11 can be ignored.
However, update the firmware and then clear the hardware log (BMC log from system bios) and then monitor it.
Cheers!
Aftab
