advice on deleting old array, making a new one.

I have a DL380 G5 with P400 controller. I am looking to remove an 8 disk array, and replace it with 8 larger disks. The plan is to

main plan:

-shut down the server

-remove the 8 original disks, label their positions

-boot the server, press F8 to run the ORCA utility, delete the array , shut down server

-insert 8 new disks

-boot the server, hit F8, create a new array

Rollback plan:

If things didnt go as expected with the new disks and build.

-shut down the server

-remove the new disks

-press F8, delete the new array

-put the old disks back in the original positions

-boot the server

-does this plan look okay?

It is a good way to secure things "just in case".

Starting fresh (with a new setup) might be a hassle, but in the end always more ideal IMHO.
