attach scsi tape drive to DL380

I have a DL380 with a 5i and a 5312 scsi controller.

My disk array is connected to the 5312

How do I go about connecting an external scsi tape drive?

Thanks

Re: attach scsi tape drive to DL380

Hello Andy,
Assuming you have DL380G2 the following can be configured with the external SCSI port:

110/220 SDLT External Tape Drive, Option Kit 215488-B21.
40/80 DLT External Tape Drive, Option Kit 146197-B22 and 146197-292.
20/40 DAT External Tape Drive, Option Kit 157770-001, 157770-B31, and 157770-291.

Note:Single-ended devices, multi-LUN Auto-loaders, and tape libraries are not supported on the Smart Array 5i or Smart Array 5i Plus Controller.

Regards,
