backup on dat 12/24

hi , i tried to configure 12/24 dat on ml350...on novell 5 with sp5 loaded....

loaded cpqscsi.ham & dsk,loaded nwtape.nlm,when sbcon is loaded ,itshows the dat drive but cannot idetify the media.
require a correct driver name ?? procedure ??....
require help.
