bios upgrade

my bios upgrade didn't go well now my server won't start anymore

please help

Greetings. Depending on the model of the server, the newer generation servers have a redundant rom. Normally if one of the ROM's that are redundant is corrupted you will get an error message to that effect, then it will boot using the Redundant Rom. It sounds as if your system ROM's are not redundant. I am not sure of the model of the server either. Normal BIOS upgrades that fail or become corrupt require that the entire system board be replaced... I would definitely contact HP/Compaq and see what they state.
