After contacting Compaq support I am still having problems starting the system.I down loaded
sp14126 as reccomended by Compaq.It doesn'twork!!!The above mentioned Softpaq is Supoesd to run before the Eisa configuration. Any help on setting up this system
would be appreciated. THANK YOU.

What is the current system ROM date and ROM family ID of the system? If the current ROM is the same version that is installed by the SP14126.EXE ROM image disk, then the system ROM will not be upgraded when you boot the system with the ROM update disk. What do you exactly mean by "It doesn't work?. Please provide more information.

Robert G.. If you are still monitoring this forum could you check the other recent posts. Also can you locate this document about Linux and the SCSI intergrated controller on the EISA boards.
