Re: boot up error

In a Down server situation, it is recommended contacting Server Support at (800)652-6672, for real time assistance in troubleshooting issues. Technicians are available 7 x 24 x 365 to assist in troubleshooting. You would need to be in front of the unit, prepared to troubleshoot the issue when you called. The following information is needed.

What is the exact hardware configuration of the server at this time, how many processors, how much memory, what SCSI controllers, SCSI devices, NICs, Modems, etc, are actually installed?

Try removing all added hardware from the server, clear NV-RAM via the switch and attempt to boot up. There is a 6 position switchblock on the System I/O board. Put switch 6 to the ON position, power the unit on, then off and put switch 6 back to the off position to clear NV-RAM. You will need the System Configuration Utility to reconfigure the server.
