buffered v. unbuffered RAM
Wanting to upgrade my memory to 512M on my dual P/Pro server. Compaq specs call for EDO ECC, unbuffered, 60ns. What if I switched all banks to buffered? will it work?

Re: buffered v. unbuffered RAM
Hi, its take unbuffered and if using any other type will not work properly (memory being very particular). You can also call in is you are un sure if memory will fit in you server, we can run the Compaq part number in are database to make sure it fits the 800 pro model. Hope this will help.
