note: i want my OS windows2000 sp4+orcale work normally.!

Hi Maysen,

Since the Raid information is stored on each hard drive's RIS(Raid Information Sector) table when you movce the drives the RIS table goes with the drives you should be able to get all you have on the drives after you moved them.

NOTE!!!!
ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO APPARENT PROBLEM, IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE A GOOD BACKUP OF YOUR DATA AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN THAT SERVER

However, I strongly recommend to update the firmware of the Smartarray 5i before you do so. It is also a good move to update the windows 2000 driver for the 5i controller
