can't install proliant management agents on 160 g5

hi on my newer servers (dl1u / 2u etc) I do the same install.

on an older server with an array controller problem I try to install the agents and get the following pre-requisites aren't met

- HP ProLiant Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO Advanced and Enhanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO 2 Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO 3 Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO 3 Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO 3/4 Channel Interface Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant 100-Series Management Controller Driver for Windows

has anyone been able to get past this or figure it out?

I have updated all roms and am re-trying it, the roms seem to detect ok but the actual system software for management doesn't seem to like it.

- tried all versions

- tried forcing the install

- tried the null driver along with the proliant 100-series

Hi,

ProLiant Support Pack or Management Agents are not ment for DL100 series servers.

These work with 300 series and above.

I actually have them working on all of the dl1u's except for this model.

The agents are supported on G6 100-series servers, but not G5.  This may explain why you have had success with your other servers.
