can't upgrade firmware

Hello,
I am having a problem pushing the firmware image to the system partition. When I try, it says (paraphrasing) that this model is incorrect for the firmware image. I tried this both through SPUU and Remotely deploying with the same results. As far as I can see, there is only one image for the 1200 (E35). I haven't tried flashing from a floppy, but I'm pretty sure I'd get the same result (and would like to keep the down time limited). Has anyone seen this issue and know a work around/solution? Thanks!

you should be doing it from a floppy on this model..
