caution: Memory correctable Error Threshold Exceeded
On the LCD panel on the front of our server we have gotten the following message twice in the last two weeks: "Caution 3/19/2001 9:35 AM Memory Correctable Error Threshold Exceeded Embedded Module: 2"
What does this mean? Are one of our memory chips bad, or does embedded mean a chip on the system board?
What should we do? Is this a serious problem for our main SQL database running on this machine? Is it possible for our database to become corrupted because of this? Is it a memory module that needs replacing? Or do we need to replace the whole system board?
I believe our memory configuration is as follows: Bank 3 (memory board) 64+64MB, Bank 1 System Board 128+128MB
I know the memory on Bank 1 is p/n 281859-001 sps-mem, 128mb, 60ns, EDO which has been working fine without any error messages for a year until now.

Re: caution: Memory correctable Error Threshold Exceeded
This would indicate that the memory module in slot 2 of the system board (128 Meg) needs to be replaced.
