change scsi id to 6 on smart-2sl
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the scsi id of smart 2sl controller from 7 to some other value (eg 6) ?
I have 2 proliant 1600's , each w/ a Smart 2SL.
I am trying to connect a single non hot plug scsi hard drive to both controllers to provide inexpensive shared storage , so can cluster the 2 servers for a test lab.
Something like this
Server1
Smart 2SL
ID 7
Scsi cable
Scsi Hard Drive
ID 0
Server 2
Smart 2SL
ID 6
Thanks
Andy
