I have a proprietary software package that I'm running on ProLiant DL360/380s. We installed the hp-snmp-agents and hp-health for SNMP environmental support.
Our product uses port 9002 for interprocess communications. Under some circumstances, cmanicd grabs port 9002 and doesn't let go. We can't figure out why it is grabbing this port or if its configurable, but it would be great if we could get it to stop. Anyone else have any knowledge about that?
Anyone know if the individual PSP demons are documented somewhere, or if HP wants us to treat it as a gigantic black box?
Thanks,
Mike
