cmaperfd using a lot of CPU power

Hi!

After a rebooting my ML350 cmaperfd is using up a lot of cpu power like below:

$ ps aux |grep cmaperfd
root 1775 85.7 0.0 2392 1224 ? R 09:18 24:34 cmaperfd -p 30 -s OK

Is this the normal behaviour of the program?

This is not a normal behaviour and it would be better if you could stop & start the service again,hope that helps.

That helped. Still don't know why this happened.

Strace produced no output and that means that the application couldn't leave userspace.

Investigating further.
