compac proliant ml 350
another variation of the 2 nd cpu struggle. do i need to add any more hardware when i add a 2 nd cpu? my bios says 2nd processor not installed.. i kinda thought it would be that easy ( or so i thought)
any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Tom,
Can you let us know which variation of ML350 you've got please...
When installing a 2nd CPU you normally have to install a PPM (Processor Power Module) as well.

hey when the system posts it says compac ml350 D04/F04 is it a gen4? dont know much about this server but it is in great shape. it has raid 5 with 3 ultra3 hds in it (if that helps)
