connection problem wit NC370i

I have a connection problem with NC 370i NICs. Every time I try to connect from a remote location with Windows Terminal Client I get an timeout failure. When I try to connect again everything is fine. It is reproducable with and without teaming and with several servers.

NIC: NC370i
Bl 465 c
Windows 2003 R2 64 bit SP2 fully patched
PSP 7.91
Procurve 2824 Switch with actual firmware, LACP disabled

Re: connection problem wit NC370i

Hello Lorenz,
Happy New Year.

You mean to say, On there is a failure on EVERY first attempt ??? & 2nd attempt works fine ??

Is the Firmware of the server including the NIC card up-to-date ?

Regards.

W2k3 R2 and NC370i together not good !! :(

You need to :

1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.

2. At the command prompt, type:

Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED

3. Press the ENTER key.

try that !!

That worked, perfect !

I do not understand, why HP has no solution out of the box for that...
