copying old SCSI drive to a new SCSI drive

I have a ProSignia 200 with the Compaq dual channel Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 controller installed in a PCI slot. The system has a SCSI DAT tape drive and a 4.3GB SCSI hard drive. I need some more disk space and I would like to copy the existing drive to the new drive and then remove the old drive. Is there and easy way to do this under NT Server 4.0?

Tom,

You'll need to have the new SCSI driver loaded for NT 4.0 and then you'll need a utility to copy the entire old drive to the new drive. It should work but I would have a full backup before doing the process incase you need disaster recovery.

Thanks Greg,
I needed some reassurance before diving into this type of task with NT Server and SCSI drives. I have done this with desk top units using IDE drives and Windows 98. I was not sure if their was some basic reason the same type of approach would not work for my server.
