correct part number for DL380G5 PCI-X riser?
Anybody know which is the correct part number
for the DL380G5 PCI-X riser. The quickspecs
says is 410570-B21, the support manual says
it's 408788-001.

Re: correct part number for DL380G5 PCI-X riser?
Thanks for the quick response, but I'm
now curious what the difference is? I always
have a heck of a time dealing with HP
particularly when I need specific equipment
and/or configurations. Maybe it's because
I don't understand what part/numbers I'm
looking for. For example, the 410570 is
not available through HP (is through other
sources), but the 408788 is available
through HP parts store. It's confusing because
different places list under either number
so they look like different items.
Please educate me so that next time I'll
know.

Re: correct part number for DL380G5 PCI-X riser?
Within HP the product number (sometimes called option number) is used when purchasing an extra part or so.
Spare parts are used when replacing existing parts.
