cpq32fs error
I have a 32cpq32fs error in the event logs which states that 'The driver detected a controller error on \Device\SCSIPort0'.
The server has 2 x 4.3GB Seagate Barracuda drives, 2 x 9.1GB Seagate Barrucada drives, 1 x HP DAT24 tape drive.
I have upgraded to Compaq Server Support ver 10.32A dated 20th Nov 2000, changed SCSI cable, disconnected tape drive and booted up with system drive only, changed SCSI card, changed riser card and changed motherboard but error still remain.
I am also receiving this error on Proliant 1600 & ML350 servers.
Any suggestions would be must appreciated.
Chie

Re: cpq32fs error
could be your scsi bus speed being too high for the tape unit...lower it one notch in the f10 if its at scsi 2 put it to scsi 1
