cpqmgmt.exe causing 100% CPU

cpqmgmt.exe is causing 100% cpu utilization on our servercausing our server to be very slow. I have stopped this process in the Compaq Management Agent in control panel and now the cpu level is OK again. Can you tell me why this has suddenly occured and is there a long term fix for this problem.
