cpqncr driver problem

I have a Proliant 6400R with 4 internal 18.2 GB disk using the compaq 53C876 controller. I am using cpqncr version 3.60 for solaris 8 and I get the following messages during boot and when I run devfsadm -c disk:
cpqncr: [ID 701372 kern.warning] WARNING: ddi_dma_buf_setup, Unknown Error
cpqncr: [ID 701372 kern.warning] WARNING: ddi_dma_buf_setup, Unknown Error
cpqncr: [ID 701372 kern.warning] WARNING: ddi_dma_buf_setup, Unknown Error
cpqncr: [ID 646205 kern.notice] CPQNCR: Command Error, Bus selection time-out

The system can see only the first drive at ID 0. The other 3 drives at IDs 1, 2 and 3 are inaccessible.

The version of cpqncr that comes with Solaris 8 gives the same error.
Solaris 7 works fine.

Any Ideas?

Re: cpqncr driver problem

Take a look at http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/download/9248.html -
it's the Driver Update diskette for Solaris 8 on Compaq servers.
