deploy drivers, tools, agents according to...?
Hi everyone!
My task is to install complete Proliant server's on site without connection to Internet. I would like to manage all drivers, tools, utils from HP dowload. My goal is to build offline storage with all needed executables and when it comes to install, choose that one, which is needed. However, I note, that some of cp0xxxxx.exe files are the same for various Proliant models and the same for various operating systems. I'd like to know, from where I had to gather information (esp. system object) to check if specific executable is appropriate to host (model, os etc.). When generic cp0xxxx.exe starts in windowed mode, there is simple check, that sets flag, if tool may be installed on i.e operating system. Simply, I'd like to move out that check to external script, and from "base" of gathered tools choose only these, that are met specific conditons.
thanks in advance,
karol
PS. I forgot, that Operating systems are mostly Windows family
